Hire an illegal alien to push it, is cheaper!

Spark plug maybe? It sounds like the engine may be flooding also.

umm it sounds like something other than the battery is a problem so i would get it checked out

Sounds to me like you should check the low oil sensor. It will kill the engine or prevent it from starting in the event the crankcase oil is below operating level. You may just need to add engine oil!!!!

I really know nothing about them but it has to have a electric starter to spin the engine, sounds like it has a crack in it, check online for a engine breakdown of parts, Google or Yahoo search engines should help

First clean the fuel filter, then make sure that your exhaust is flowing smooth, sorry but thats all i know about 2 and 4 cycle engines.

Fuel and fire is what you need. Sounds like fire isn’t the problem. I would think a fuel problem. Try replacing the fuel cap and filter - these are the least expensive and most often the problem. If the cap is bad then the fuel doesn’t get the pressure in the system it needs to stay up in the line - thus it takes a while to clear its throat and start again. If you have a plugged fuel filter - same thing happens - choking for fuel. When you let it sit, you are most likely giving it time to allow air to get built back up in the tank from the cap area and then your fuel pump gets a quick shot of pressure. Next would be the fuel pump and check the lines to be sure there are no leaks there. Good Luck.

It could either be a neutral safety switch that is gummed up, or some type of safety starting switch that is sticking untill it finally frees itself.
